When I said 'yes,' I had no inkling of the winding road that lay ahead...
Her life had an intense and dense energetic signature that persisted even in her absence, and tending to it felt like a task fit for a superhero.
I knew it wouldn't be a walk in the park, but I never anticipated the threats, attacks, and slander that would come from her ex, her parents, and later, the looming specter of legal battles with her adopted parents.
Initially, I considered it an honor, a testament to the trust she placed in me, as she expressed in her letter and will.
Little did I anticipate that this would devolve into a stereotypical narrative, where families painted me as the villain—a caretaker who gave up her life to tend to the afterlife of a client who chose to cease breathing...
Navigating the aftermath, grappling with the chaos, became an arduous journey that drained my life force, exacerbated by the projections of those grappling with their grief, casting me as the bad guy.
This process and the entire experience are why I've reoriented my work and offerings...
Because I don’t want one of the biggest pain points of humanity to be the sole entry point to working with me...
I eagerly await the day when this chapter closes, allowing us all to move forward.
Despite still being deeply entrenched in it, I do appreciate the insights I have gained through this initiation.
