Today, I visited my most favorite place on Earth the - ‘Īao Valley…

I brought lei and local roses as offerings for my cherished furry friend...

I wrapped sacred stone in Ti leaves and wept as the river flowed and the sun shown strong.

I received a heartwarming hug from an ancient, magical elder tree, its whispers nourishing my spirit...

Returning home, I scattered rose petals on the road where my beloved was taken, alongside ginger flowers and hawthorn.

Death as a ceremony, after all, is what I have been studying, not by choice, with the death of the client…. I suppose it awaits us all in its own time.
