Why it’s easier to relate with Animals and Plants.
Understanding Energetic Dissonance in Relationships
Have you ever noticed how easy it feels to connect with animals or plants? How natural and clear their presence is?
Animals and plants have a natural congruence—a harmony between energy, intention, and action. They communicate clearly and without dissonance, making it easy to listen to them and relate with them.
People, however, often have mismatched energies: their words may say one thing, their actions another, and their energy something else entirely. My heightened sensitivity picks up on these incongruences, and it’s that dissonance I’m responding to, not the person themselves.
This has been a key pattern I’ve experienced in the world, especially when I’ve felt misunderstood or projected upon. People often aren’t connected to the deeper motivation behind their actions; instead, they operate from what they think their intentions are. This disconnect creates a kind of self-deceit that is common in humans but absent in animals and plants, who remain clear and clean in their needs and motivations.
Many of us are attuned to these subtle aspects but don’t realize why we feel uneasy or weird in certain interactions or with certain people. It can show up as confusion or discomfort, and when we try to address it, the other person often isn’t aware of what we’re sensing. This lack of awareness can create even more strife, as the dissonance is not only unacknowledged but often denied.
In my work and design, I am uniquely gifted at translating emotional and energetic experiences, offering clarity where there might otherwise be confusion. I find it helpful to track the “why” behind feeling weird or disconnected and to illuminate what you may be experiencing.
What’s your experience with this pattern? Have you felt this sensitivity in your interactions, or noticed how it affects your relationships? I’d love to hear your reflections.
