Full Moon Fire Ceremony
Under the Aries Full Moon, we gathered around the sacred fire to release the dissonance, the static, the painful situations, relationships, perceptions, and words that hold us back, the beliefs that keep us small or looping in limitation.
We began by grounding and attuning to the heart, orienting toward what we were shedding, the inner and outer noise, the attachments that drain our vitality, the stories that no longer serve the truth of who we are.
Each person made offerings to the fire, aligned with their intention of shedding and release.
The drum beat in rhythm with our breath.
The smoke rose.
The medicine of the fire moved through us.
After the release came the stillness, the listening, and then the welcoming.
We turned our attention toward what we are calling in, what we are ready to dream into being.
Each person named what they are now opening to, the prayers for harmony, for clarity, for new pathways of purpose and peace.
Offerings were made again to anchor the calling in, to honor the new seeds being placed in the fertile ground the fire had cleared.
The prayers continue to move through us long after the embers fade.
Our work is to stay open, to receive the prayer we have spoken.
So often we speak our intentions, make our offerings, and then turn away before the alchemy has settled.
We rush back into the familiar rhythm of doing, unaware that the medicine is still working through us.
The fire showed how easily we slip into the mind, into the patterned self that wants to complete and move on.
But ceremony asks something different.
It asks that we stay.
To listen.
To breathe.
To let the energy re pattern itself through the body and into our lives.
Ceremony is not something separate from life.
It is a way of living in relationship with it.
The prayer is not finished when the flame goes out.
It lives through every choice, every breath, every moment that follows.
