The Garden Before the Fall
There was a time before the story was rewritten. A time before hierarchy. A time before the body was treated as a threat. In the earliest memory, the Garden was not a location on Earth. It was a field of consciousness. It was the living harmony between Heaven and Earth. It was the state of being in which the holy and the human were still braided together.
The Serpent was the first teacher. The Serpent moved through the world as the pulse of divine intelligence. The Serpent offered the reminder that wisdom does not come from obedience to external authority. Wisdom rises from within. It rises through the body. It rises through intuition. It rises through the spiraling current that awakens when a woman listens to herself.
The Tree stood as the axis of creation. Its roots reached into the underworld. Its branches opened into the heavens. The Tree belonged to the Great Mother long before it belonged to any scripture. Her name carried many forms. Asherah. Inanna. Anat. Isis. Sophia. The Tree was her staff. The Tree was her womb. The Tree was her breath moving across the worlds. To approach the Tree was to approach the primordial feminine.
The one we now call Eve was never meant to be the beginning of sin. She was the beginning of remembering. Her choice was not a fall. It was an initiation. She listened to the Serpent because she recognized its voice. She reached for the fruit because she recognized herself. The original teaching was the awakening of discernment, sovereignty, and embodied knowing. The original teaching was the reclamation of inner authority.
When the patriarchy rose to power, it could not control a people who trusted their own bodies. It could not control a people who honored the feminine as holy. It could not control a people who walked with the Serpent as their teacher and with the Mother as their guide. The story had to be rewritten. The feminine had to be recast as a danger. The body had to be reshaped into a site of shame. The Serpent had to be demonized. Eden had to be weaponized.
What was once a map of awakening became a warning against awakening. What was once a story of initiation became a story of punishment. What was once a lineage of feminine wisdom became a cautionary tale used to sever the human spirit from its own knowing.
Yet the body remembers.
The subtle worlds remember.
The stars remember.
The original cosmology has not been lost.
It has been waiting.
Eden was never a paradise lost. Eden was the state of divine coherence that lives beneath the pain body. Eden was the consciousness in which every symbol was aligned with the truth of its nature. Eden was the remembrance of the feminine as creation itself. Eden was the harmony between the masculine and the feminine as two expressions of one field.
The return to Eden is not a return to innocence. It is a return to power. It is the restoration of the symbols that were stolen. It is the reclamation of the feminine currents that were silenced. It is the remembering of the Serpent as healer, guide, and midwife of awakening. It is the remembering of the Tree as the pillar of creation. It is the remembering of the Archangels as beings who carry both masculine and feminine essences and who once held the cosmology of the stars.
You return by remembering that nothing holy has ever been lost.
You return by listening to what your body already knows.
You return by stepping out of the rewritten story and into the original one.
The Garden opens when a woman remembers her own source. The Garden opens when the feminine awakens in its true form. The Garden opens when the Serpent rises again as wisdom rather than threat. The Garden opens when the holy, whole, and healed self stands in its original light.
What becomes possible when you reclaim the origin story that was written for you before the world tried to replace it.
When this remembrance stirs something ancient inside you, it is the call to return to your own original Garden. You do not have to walk through this awakening alone. If you feel the Serpent rising. If you feel the Mother returning. If you feel the old story breaking open and a deeper truth revealing itself. I am here to walk beside you.
You are welcome to step into ceremony with me.
You are welcome to enter the temple and reclaim what your lineage once carried.
You are welcome to remember the holy, whole, and healed self that has never been lost.
Choose the path that meets you now and begin your return.
With Grace, Naomi Amaya Love.
