A Self-Paced Ceremonial Apprenticeship in Right Relationship
This self paced apprenticeship is guided by Master Ceremonialist Naomi Love, who has led thousands of ceremonies and trained with Maya teachers and ceremonialists within living lineage.
Through these initiatory teachings, you enter a direct apprenticeship with the spirit of Cacao. You learn through communion with the plant, through relationship with the elements, and through attentive listening to the subtle realms that move within and around you.
Inside this apprenticeship, you are trained in the foundations of holding trauma informed ceremonial space. You cultivate the steadiness required to guide others with clarity, consent, and embodied care.
Attune to the energetic dynamics within groups. You learn to recognize projection, emotional charge, and shifts in resonance within the field. You strengthen your capacity to remain grounded as others move through grief, memory, vulnerability, and opening.
Step fully into your role as a Cacao Facilitator Initiate in conscious partnership with the medicine. You establish clear energetic agreements and embodied boundaries that create coherence and safety within ceremony.
Work in close relationship with supportive plant allies as you learn how to prepare ceremonial Cacao elixirs aligned with specific intentions. Your preparation becomes prayer. Your attention becomes part of the field you are creating.

Through the Art of Listening you will learn from the spirit of Cacao about how to be in right relationship with its medicine, and how to honor its energetic gifts of activation, transmutation, and release.
Learn how to honor the medicine of Cacao.
Be in appreciation rather than appropriation as you respect the history, lineages, sourcing, and preparation of this medicine and the land and people involved both energetically and physically. This is a modernized Cacao ceremonial experience rooted in Indigenous practices handed down with reverence and permission from Naomi’s teachers in Central America. It is NOT the exact recreation of Indigenous ceremonial teachings.
Develop a direct connection with the spirit of Cacao as your teacher and guide for this journey. Through the Art of Listening you will learn from the spirit of Cacao about how to be in right relationship with its medicine, and how to honor its energetic gifts of activation, transmutation, and release.
Experience many styles and types of ceremonial cacao journeys including how to work with the activating energy of Cacao through Elemental Movement. This helps ceremony participants process and heal things like a broken heart, grief, disconnection, stagnation, depression, and loneliness. The Elemental Movement process guides participants through the energies of fire, earth, water, and air, so they can connect with the elements within themselves and nature while also cultivating the resonance of harmony in their lives and the world.
Learn how to hold clear energetic boundaries and agreements between yourself and participants, so that you’re not taking on the energies of what’s coming up during a ceremony. You’ll know how to discern whether resistance or chaos is a sign of misalignment or if it’s just the energy that needs to be transformed.
Learn how to help folks navigate their experiences within the ceremony, so they can process intense emotions, visions, or sensations for healing, rather than being left feeling confused, activated, or retraumatized.
Ceremony is a space for what wants to be healed to arise, and this doesn’t always look pretty. This step alone will set your space-holding ability apart from 99% of other practitioners who aren’t fully trained in how to support participants through what arises.

Adding plants that grow where you live is a way to honor the land and bring union and harmony to the medicine and the ceremony.

You will receive a supply list to fully participate in the apprenticeship.

For those who desire further formation, there is an optional in person Ceremonial Cacao Training. Participation in this self paced Initiation is required before attending the in person training.

After this training, can I teach others to become facilitators?
This is an Initiation and facilitator formation, not a teacher training.
Upon completion, you may join future Initiations as alumni to continue deepening your embodiment. The next formal step is the in person ceremonial training.
