Shake well before use. Take 2 to 4 drops orally, either directly on your tongue or added to a small amount of water.

Hold the dropper above your tongue and avoid touching it to your mouth. After taking your dose, squeeze the top while the dropper is still outside the bottle to release any remaining elixir into your mouth or water. Return the empty dropper to the bottle. This helps protect the elixir from contamination and keeps it fresh longer.

You can take Rose Mystica during prayer, meditation, ritual, grief tending, or whenever you want to return to your body and settle into the coherent field of your heart.

You will need a charcoal disc made for burning loose resin, metal tongs, a dedicated charcoal burner or fireproof vessel, and a bed of ash or clean sand.

Place the burner on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from anything flammable. Fill the bottom with ash or clean sand to help contain the heat. Do not use rice because it can scorch and create an unpleasant smell.

Before lighting, hold the charcoal with metal tongs and blow your prayers and intentions onto it. Light the edge of the charcoal, then place it in the prepared burner. Self-lighting charcoal can spark as it ignites, so keep it away from your face, hair, clothing, and anything flammable.

Wait until the surface of the charcoal has turned gray. Add a very small pinch of resin and allow its fragrance and smoke to unfold. Once the resin has finished burning, gently remove the spent material with a metal spoon before adding another small pinch.

The resin can snap, crackle, or pop as it burns. Use it in a well-ventilated space and never leave burning charcoal unattended. Allow the charcoal, ash, and vessel to cool completely before touching, moving, or discarding them.

Use a dedicated charcoal burner or a fireproof vessel made from heat-safe clay or metal. Place a bed of ash or clean sand beneath the charcoal to help contain the heat.

The charcoal becomes extremely hot. Place the vessel on a stable, heat-resistant surface and keep it away from anything flammable.

Do not use ordinary glass, delicate ceramics, or decorative dishes that are not designed for sustained heat. They can crack, break, or transfer enough heat to damage the surface beneath them.

Each Temple Resin is ground by hand with a mortar and pestle and packaged in a tin for ease of use and travel.

Natural resins respond to temperature. They can soften and become sticky in warmth, then harden again as they cool. Before opening, tap the closed tin firmly against your palm to loosen the blend and move the resin away from the edges.

Keep the rim and inner edge of the tin clean. Resin that gathers there can harden and make the container difficult to open. If this happens, place a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a cloth and wipe the rim and edges clean.

Only use rubbing alcohol when the tin is cool and far away from flame, lit charcoal, sparks, or heat. Keep rubbing alcohol away from open flame or heat. Allow the tin to dry completely before closing it or burning the resin.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.

After 35 years of burning herbs and resins, I have found that large pieces often smell beautiful at first and then develop a heavy, scorched scent as they continue to burn. Grinding the ingredients into smaller pieces allows the fragrance to release more evenly and gives you greater control over the amount you burn.

Use only a light sprinkling at a time. Think of it as seasoning the charcoal with salt and pepper. Allow that small amount to finish, gently remove the spent material, and add another light sprinkling as desired.

Animals are highly sensitive to smoke, essential oils, and aromatic ingredients. Avoid using Temple Resins and Blessing Waters around animals.

Keep animals out of the room while burning resins or misting Blessing Waters, then ventilate the space before allowing them to return. Never spray a Blessing Water directly onto an animal.

The color, fragrance, flavor, texture, and subtle character may vary according to the roses, resins, hydrosols, and other botanicals in each preparation.

Access to roses, resins, hydrosols, flower essences, and other botanicals changes with the season, harvest, and source. Each formula is created with the finest ingredients available at the time the batch is made.

Black UV-protective glass helps shield the botanicals, hydrosols, essential oils, and flower essences within each formula from light exposure. The dark glass supports the integrity of the medicine and creates a durable vessel for your altar, healing room, or travels.

When your medicine is finished, please keep the bottle and reuse it. These are high-quality bottles designed to have a life beyond one formula.

Wash the bottle and closure thoroughly with warm, soapy water, rinse them well, and allow everything to dry completely. You can reuse the bottle for altar water, a personal ceremonial blend, dried herbs, flower essences, or another preparation that is appropriate for the bottle.

Store the bottle upright in a cool place away from direct sunlight, and keep it closed when it is not in use.

When your Blessing Water is finished, remove the crystal from the bottle.
