Can Blessing Waters be used during healing sessions?

Yes. Mist before a session to prepare the client and establish a coherent ceremonial field, during the work to support receptivity and attunement, and afterward to complete the ceremony and seal the client within the sovereignty of their own energetic field. Each formula carries its own ceremonial benefits. All three are recommended for practitioners who work with clients in person.

Choose Body of Light for embodiment, vitality, grounded radiance, and coherence between the physical body and energetic field.

Why does my Blessing Water need to be shaken?

The hydrosols, essential oils, flower essences, salts, and other botanical ingredients naturally settle or separate. Gently shaking the bottle redistributes the ingredients and brings the formula back into coherence before use.

Question 7

How do I take Rose Mystica Elixir?

Accepted Answer

Shake well before use. Take 2 to 4 drops orally, either directly on your tongue or in a small amount of water. Hold the dropper above your tongue without allowing it to touch your mouth. After taking your dose, squeeze any remaining elixir from the dropper into your mouth or water before returning the empty dropper to the bottle. This helps protect the integrity of the elixir and keep it fresh longer. Rose Mystica is sweet to the taste and completely alcohol-free.

Yes. Take Rose Mystica Elixir to receive the medicine of rose within, mist a Blessing Water around your body and space, and burn a Temple Resin to create and hold the ceremonial field.

Question 10

How do I burn the Temple Resins?

Accepted Answer

Place a charcoal disc in a dedicated heatproof resin burner containing clean sand or ash. Hold the charcoal with metal tongs while lighting one edge, then place it in the burner and wait until it is glowing and beginning to turn gray. You may blow your prayers into the charcoal before lighting it. Lightly sprinkle a very small amount of ground resin over the charcoal, like salt and pepper. Add more only as needed and remove spent material carefully with a metal spoon. Burn only in a well-ventilated space, as charcoal may spark, snap, or pop. Never leave burning charcoal unattended, and allow it to cool completely before disposal.

What kind of vessel should I use for burning Temple Resins?

Use a dedicated heatproof resin burner or fireproof vessel filled with clean sand or ash. Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from fabric, drafts, children, and animals. The vessel can become extremely hot.

Why do you grind the Temple Resins?

Accepted Answer

After 35 years of burning herbs and resins, I have found that large pieces can smell beautiful at first and then become heavy or scorched as they continue to burn. Grinding the blend with a mortar and pestle allows the fragrance to release more evenly and gives you greater control over the amount placed on the charcoal. Lightly sprinkle the ground resin over the charcoal like salt and pepper, then remove the spent material before adding more.

How should I care for and store my Temple Resin?

Natural resins may soften, harden, or cling to the tin as the temperature changes. If the resin gathers against one side, keep the tin closed and tap it gently against your palm. Keep the rim clean so the lid closes securely. If needed, wipe the rim with a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a cloth. Keep rubbing alcohol away from open flame or heat, and allow the tin to dry completely before closing it or burning the resin. Store the tin upright in a cool, dry place.

Can Temple Resins or Blessing Waters be used around animals?

Animals are highly sensitive to smoke, essential oils, and aromatic ingredients. Avoid using Temple Resins and Blessing Waters around animals. Keep animals out of the room while burning resins or misting Blessing Waters, then ventilate the space before allowing them to return. Never spray a Blessing Water directly onto an animal. Take particular care with birds and animals with respiratory conditions or known sensitivities.

Will every small batch be exactly the same?

No. Each offering is prepared in small batches, and its color, fragrance, flavor, texture, and subtle character may vary according to the roses, resins, botanicals, and other ingredients available. These natural variations are part of the integrity of handmade plant medicine, and no two batches will be exactly alike.

Are the ingredients organic and ethically sourced?

Organic ingredients are used whenever available. Wildcrafted ingredients are gathered ethically and with respect for the plant, the land, and the continuing health of the plant population. Only what can be taken without damaging future growth is gathered.

Why are the Blessing Waters and Rose Mystica Elixir bottled in black UV-protective glass?

Black UV-protective glass helps shield the botanical ingredients from light exposure and preserve the integrity of the formula. These are high-quality bottles, so please keep and reuse them. Wash the empty bottle with warm soapy water, rinse it thoroughly, and allow it to dry completely before using it for altar water, a personal blend, flower essences, dried herbs, or another ceremonial purpose.

What should I do with the crystal inside my Blessing Water?

Accepted Answer

When the bottle is empty, remove the crystal, wash it gently, and keep it on your altar, carry it with you, place it in a medicine bag, or incorporate it into personal ceremony. Rose Mystica contains rose quartz, Holy Trinity contains amethyst, and Body of Light contains sunstone. The crystals are small and are not intended for ingestion. Keep them away from children and animals.
